Bill served on the West Whiteland Township Historic Commission as Vice Chairperson (and Treasurer) -- a group charged with historic preservation in very historic Chester County, Pennsylvania (2001 - 2006)

As a Member of the International Laser Display Association, Mr. Bennett served as Technical Committee coordinator and on the Ethics Committee.

Invited member of Leadership 21, a 6-month leadership development program of the University of Michigan and Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.

Biking, boating, sledding, boarding, playing bass & ice hockey provide the physical distractions. Mr. Bennett produced many a fund raiser event for his local schools where theater, concerts and a myriad community events first drew him to lighting, sound reinforcement, and event production.
